Ok I need some help from you Photoshop experts.
I forgott to tell Jim to use tinted Lexan when they did the roll bar on my truck.

So now I am looking to design a rear window graphic for my rear window, using the vinal stuff that you can't see in but can see out.

I am looking for a blck backround with some Lightning bolts, or a P38 Lightning, or a combo of both.

I found a few pics that you can use, or use your own imagination.

I don't have Photoshop only photo delux, so I can't do a lot

This is what I did, it is OK but the JDM logo is to big and not very clear.

I think you have some good ideas, I would do the JDM in the middle and bolts all around the cage if it was me.... I think that would look GREAT!

 

Don't bother doing Don. Try to get some of that tint sheeting or see if you can have a tint place do something.

I don't know if you remember my post, probably a year ago, but i wanted to put that checkered flag one in my back window, like chris had on his red truck.....but he had the american flag. So i asked a bunch of cops that used to come in my shop what they thought, and they all came out with the same thing........

Turns out they are **** about window tint alone and any of those rear window logos is an instant ticket!!!! I don't know what the actual mass law is they said especially on a truck like that , it's looking for trouble.


So let's see....first of all a lightning....loud exhaust.....a rollbar.......and the window decal.......you will be harrassed non stop.

I wouldn't do it.

Hate to be so negative cause that would look badass.

 

I'd feel sorry for the cop that pulls Don over.Don would be like "Do you know who I am , I'm Don's Bolt Damnit. Now leave me alone"HEHEHE

Hey Don

I know you are only trying to help, but I am 99.999% sure that the tinting regulations only apply to the side windows, and the windshield. I don't even think you are required to have a rear window. The cops may not like it, but I don't think there is anything they can legally do.

Look at all the Vans, trucks, and busses driving around with no rear window at all. As long as you leave the side windows, and widshield alone it should be legal.

 

Don I am no expert like some of the others but here is a version

 

A P-38 would look awesome Don, they were an amazing aircraft for that era. There specs are similar to your truck. $115,000 (not bad for 1939).
17,500 LBS, two 1475 HP engines and 414 mph top end.
The only differance was they had 4 - 50 caliber guns and a 20mm cannon. ( they would come in handy at the track if you didn't like you opponent.LOL

like i said, i'm not sure what the mass laws are, some of the cops aren't either if you flat out ask them, but they are really bad around here with any tint/window issues (blame the ricers for that). Like the cops told me, on a truck like that, it's one more reason for them to pull you over for something they may let anyone else just drive by.

That looks pritty cool, but for those photoshopping something for me do it without the bars in. That will only confuse the guy making the graphics.

Also I better wait to do the 10 second club sticker untill I actually do it. LOL
And I want the JDM logo on the left window as I drive with the rear window open all the time.
