dimmer switch wire
guys i want to install a guage on my stering column and i would like to know where when i wire up the light that is inside the gauge. i would like to wire it up to the dimmer switch on the headlights does anyone know what wire is the dimmer one thanks.its an 01

What you need to do is to use a screwdriver (preferably covered with electrical tap or something to pad it) to pry open the dimmer wheel panel. the dimmer wheel has some wires leading to it just splice into the wire that has blue insulation with a thin red stripe(it is the top one). To get a picture you can do a search on this forum or on nloc. The picture will show you exactly which wire to splice. Hope this helps.
