Question This has been on my mind for some time now...

Why is it that the trucks with the heavy pulleys are faster? I thought lighter meant faster but trucks with those light 2lb pulleys are consistantly being beat by trucks with heavier pullies. Hell Vinnie has ever Mod known to man on his truck which has to be heavy and a damned 8lb pulley and runs 11's!!! A freakin' 8 pound pulley thats 4 times heavier than the 2 pounders and thats rotating weight!!

it adds more weight on the front tires, creating better traction off the line ... you know 'cause we have front wheel drive ....

Well, the reason they are faster is because the 8# pulley requires less blinker fluid than the 2# pulley which offsets the weight gain .

More proof that women (if she is one) should be kept barefoot and pregnant and away from the computer.

Pay NO attention to these guys, Wendy!

It's the lower CG (center of gravity) of the heavier
pulleys. When the CG is lower, so is wind resistance;
hence faster times.

Well Vinnie's in the 11's because of his higher performance blinker fluid and top of the line muffler bearings

Ok, just in case she isnt joking..... Wendy, you do know that is the amount of boost gained, not a physical measurement of the pulley? But we all know you were just kidding. haha.
