Question rubber floor mats?????

Ok I’m getting tired of the salt and snow getting my carpeted floor mats dirty. What I’m looking for is the mats that are all rubber, cupped on the side to keep the dirt off of your carpet and is one piece that stretches from one side to the other. I’ve seen these but and looked in a few stores but can’t seam to locate one now. Does anyone know where I can get one of these?

Wink

Just do what i do. Dont drive your truck in the snow, rain, or when salt is on the ground. That way you dont have to worry about messing up the rugs

I have a catalog from stylin concepts that has them. They will send you one free, or go to the web site. www.stylinconcepts.com

I have husky liners in my Lightning and they work very well. The center hump liner is a must.

edit: here is a picture from husky liner web site

part #'s 3330 and 8235

You can usually find some rubber floor mats at Pep Boys, Autozone, or maybe discount auto parts. If I were you I'd just look around at all the local auto stores. Your bound to find something.

Not drive in the rain>??? Are you high>??? They made hoses and water for a reason. That being so we can drive are vehicles thru whatever we like.....then just wash them off afterwards. I went to walmart a few days after I got my truck and picked up some nice rubber mats. only cover each side though, not the "hump." I think they costed me like $30 if that. Matter of fact it was raining that day too. -Mat-

Am i high. I think you are. First i have driven in the rain before and have been caught in thunder storms. These trucks are not fun in the rain i like to do WOT blast with my truck and you cant do that when its raining. Unless you want to be wraped around a telephone pole then i wouldnt do a WOT blast with it raining. My truck isnt a daily driver thats why i have my 2 other beaters. Plus after all the money i spent on my truck i wouldnt want to take her out in ***** weather. I dont understand why anyone would buy a lightning to use as a daily driver if thats their only car. Especially if they live where it snows. So roll that up and smoke it .

i got the grey ones from stylin concepts, but they are the same as any kmart, wallmart, meijer, etc. or you can goto local ford dealer and get one that has the f150 logo on them, they work great, so far this winter i've looked at all the snow and dirt when it melts on the rubber, and couldn't imagine if that went straight into the carpet.

all hail rubber mats for the winter

Go with the Huskys, I got them for X-mas and they are awsome! A little pricey at $69.99 but you get driver and passenger side. I will never consider another brand after using these the past few months.

Trust me I am not high. I bought my lightning to enjoy it not park it. I have no problem in down pours you just need to use your head. If you drive stupid then you are gonna crash........plain and simple. Maybe some1 would buy a Lightning for daily driving duties because it is there dream vehilce but they can afford to vehilces like you or me. I am just trying to stick up for the people that have no choice here. I know I am fortunate enough to have a dealer plate to slap on anything I want. If I didn't then the Lightning would be my daily driver. I would have no problem with that either. Get some snow tires and wheels and go. When there is white stuff I drive my 85 ranger. When there isn't the Lightning comes out for the most part(like today). I believe this post was started because the person had no choice but to drive his Lightning. I feel he deserves all the respect!

Oh yeah by the way........you have nice wheels and your truck looks great in person. -Mat-

Ok, been there done that… I just sold a 1988 Mustang GT that was a garage queen, 14 years old and still looked like new. I’ve always had an extra car to drive in the winter to keep my mustang nice and I’ve always felt that I just never got all the enjoyment out of it that I could have had. Don’t get me wrong I love my L and it’s spotless when it’s not like this outside, I also enjoy cleaning on it too. I have two garage queens right now (1969 Mach 1 & a motorcycle) and just didn’t want the L to be one of them. So BadAzz516, I do understand your train of thought and I am a fanatic about my vehicles, ask my wife she thinks I’m crazy! Thanks for all the input guy’s… Oh and thanks for sticking up for me SVT F15O, but I don’t think it was needed, I drive my truck by choice not because I can’t afford a beater.
