Question Taking my front bumper off...

I plan on taking my front bumper off to get resprayed. I have a lot of rock chips and scrup marks underneath. Also I have two aggravating holes that needs to be filled in from where the dealer used a dealer tag. Question is, are screws used to mount the front bumper on or rivets? Also how many should I look to take out? Is this a simple task? I figure by taking the bumper off myself would save me some money at the paint shop..

Not too bad, screws by the wheel wells, plastic fastners under neith and 4 that are hidden (up towards the top of bumper) you get them from underneith though, thats the hardest part. Don't forget to unplug the fog lights.......

it comes off real easy. Just pull the fan shroud so you can get your hand down in there. Use a screw driver to push down the centers of the 4 retainer pins and then the side screws.

upper grill also has to come off first, and when u do get all the fasteners off on the lower, which is
-6 screws in the wheel wells
-4 fasteners on the upper inside
-remove the air deflector on the i/c heat exchanger
-remove and or unplug fogs
and when u take it off get someone to help, and start on one side and pull off and finda peal from the truck...ive done it way to much....
