Warranty End?
Warranty End?
When will the 01L's warranty be up?I am taking my truck to the dealer to get these things fixed. horn sounds like a ricer, idler pullies, foglights, headlight, vacum hose that melted, and "the clunk".

The dealer I bought my L from fixed my clunk and I haven't had any noise in about six months.
Herb's washers aren't the only fix. I had my steering stops greased almost a year and a half ago. Haven't heard the clunk since. (about 9000 miles).

in either event, the warranty is good for 3 years or 36,000 miles from the warranty start date.
you can have OASIS run using your VIN to find out your truck's warranty start/end dates.

so if i bought my 01 on december 22nd 2001 i still have a little less than 2 years left on my warranty? Has anyone had all these problems fixed at once before under warranty? if so how long can i expect it to take to be done?
There are 2 clunks assiociated with our trucks. One of them can be fixed by greasing the steering stops. This one isnt that big of a deal. The other you have to change the washers and that one is more of a problem because it throws off your alignment and causes unnecessary tread wear. I could be wrong so if i am no offense is taken to the person that sets me striaght but from my understanding, my statements are correct.
.... I hope.
