setup to run low 12's without Nitrous???

I'd like to keep the stock exhaust and do it on street tires (sub 1.9 60') without the use of nitrous.

Is it possible or am I dreaming?

Actually just looking for a 12.3 since altitude correction for me would make it a 12.9

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

is a 6# pulley safe to use on a daily driver?

What is the difference in power vs a 4#?

I already have the chip, fliter, TB so I'm half way there!

I did low 12's alot and high 11's a few times with these:

PSP 4-Way Chip
PSP 6lb lower
PSP Filter
PSP Factory Tech Valve Body
PSP Caltrac Bars
PSP Headers & Midpipes
Bassani Cat Back

I ran the best of 11.95 on slicks and a 12.39 on 22's...

And I drive it all the time 24,000 miles hard.

There are a lot of guys running a 6# pulley on there daily driver.

I might sugest a interchangable pulley and run a 4 on the street and a 6 at the track.

Just make sure you comunicate with your tuner.

Im running a 6lb'er on my daily driver. About 7,500 miles on the 6lb'er, and still going strong! Just make sure your chip is burned for it...

I ran 12.8 with a Filter-chip-n-my 4lb pulley on worn F-1's

for the next run CECIL APRIL 12th

I now have 28" Hoosier's, a 2-3lb Upper, a Plasma Booster, an Accu-Fab Throttle Body, PSP Traction Bars and a Drive Shaft Loop.
I better knock off at least 3-5 tenths or I'll be pissed

Considering I still havent addressed any cooling mods like a fan, cobra pump, or cool can, not to mention the tranny mod, I'd say I'll still have a little more to pull out if the above doesn't get me to my goal

LOL Superchips Flip Chip. Didn't want to write the whole thing out.

IMO a 6# for the street is fine. As Don's Bolt said, just communicate that to your tuner.

both JeffsLightning and Struckby99 have done low 12s (12.3 range) with:

6# and most of the bolt-ons on ET Streets. I think StruckBy99 ran a 12.3 with a 6#, filter, BfB diablo chip, e-fan, lakewoods and ET streets.

I ran a couple 12.2's with only 4# pulley and other mods... You will need an EXCEPTIONAL traction at the track to get that far in the 12's on street tires.
