Sir Soap,

You've helped a bunch of folks out. Don't be a stranger.

remain calm, focus on the new homestead to park the 05, and MOST IMPORTANTLY..... nurse the Jager in your time of misery, or something.

Cheers,

Bob

Real feeling of emptyness is going to set in, I know after mine was wrecked and after I started to recover eventhough I was in the hospital I felt really empty knowing the L was finished

I know the guy that boought it very well, dont worry fellows it is in good hands. I can pretty much assure you it will be raced. He and I have been talking for the past week about part that could be purchased for it, and I beleive he already has a nitours kit ready for it.

Maybe he will be the one to get Chickn off his a$$ and racing again.

There is getting to be so many Lightnings around here, I might have to reconsider buying the 03 Cobra.

Unhappy

Joe,

that is sad news indeed, but I am sure the time will go quickly, and you will have another L soon. remember if you're ever in the New England area to give me a shout, and I will be more than happy to give you a ride in my truck, and although its not black, the shifts should feel about the same!

Talking Dudes

Guys......thanks for all the kind words. It was sad to see it go since I put so much hard work into it but that's OK. I was happy with it while I owned it, and that's all I could ask for.

To answer a few questions......

builtfordfast: I am sure I'll see you around at events and I hope those Truck Traks work as well for you as they did for me.

Brian Baskin: No he didn't drive up but his 2 friends did. That is my house in the background so ya they picked it up right out of the garage.

Speedy/Gator: I have already drown my sorrows but I am sure this weekend will bring the same

LatemodelRacer2: I "reserved" the pulley for my buddy who wants one.

teblmm/Injector Dude: The guys name is Jackie, I won't mention his last name just because I'm a nice guy He is a huge drag racer from what I understand so the truck will be going back down the 1320 real soon.

TZRLightning01: That valve body has seen 12.2's so do it proud

I don't want to congratulate you, because I know how hard a decision it must have been.

I'm going through the same thing right now. I can't bear to part with it, but financially I look at what it's costing me per month to sit in the garage for half the year. I took an SVT Focus out for a spin last night. Half the power and half the payment. The handling and 6 speed were most impressive. It would mean changing my quest for the 12's to my quest for the 14's. I just don't know...

You might be onto something there, for 1/2 the payment

Joe, this sunday watching the Bucs win the superbowl, I'll raise a toast in your honor
