the dealership replaced my bad intercooler today. the mechanic was a friend and a guy i used to work with when i was a mechanic at a ford dealership. he showed me the intercooler and was suprised how bad it was leaking. my truck is a 1999 and has 5050 miles on it. everyone on this board is right the 1999-2000 intercoolers are junk. i suggest anyone who has a 1999-2000 to go to dealership and check to see if it was replaced. if not ask nice and see what they can do for you. mine was out of warrenty and they covered 80% of bill. i was very happy to see ford back this even though warrenty was up. hopefully i dont have any more problems!

That is pretty cool. It's nice to hear about a good warranty situation. I feel like 80% covered is a fair deal for an out of warranty part.
