Vinnie, Fast Gator, or RTKilla ?

Guys,

I've noticed you've got some very nice looking aftermarket Tranny Pans. ( As well as Killer Rides!!) I love the Ford Racing Pan, but they only make it for the 4R100. I have the 4R70W and found a couple of nice pans. What I'd like to know is, did the bolts come with your pan? If not, what make and size are they? One of the photo's looks like it has a recessed hex head or allen headbolt. Is that correct? If so would you know what size and if they'd fit the 4R70W Tranny Case?

Thanks for your help.

John

I'm not sure what tranny pan you are looking at, but I do know that the mag-hytec and B&M pan both come with aftermarket allen head bolts to attach the pan.

B&M was one of my choices. In the summit catalog it only says it comes with drainplug, gasket, and filter extension. That's why I was wondering.

actually, we just got the 2003 Ford Racing Performance Parts catalogs today at work and they offer aluminum FRRP pans for both the 4R100 and the 4R70W. check it out, may be exactly what you are looking for. I'd post a pic, but I didn't bring one home.

later,
chris

Part #

Superfords,

could you give me the part # for the pan? I'd really like to get the FR one if they make it.

B&M Pan

Update,

According to Summit the B&M pan does come with the mounting hardware. It just doesn't mention it in on teir website.

If anyone with a 2003 Ford Racing Catolog could give me the # for the aluminum 4R70W pan, I would be greatful.

Thanks,

John

Why not just call your local Ford Parts dept?

My catolog doesn't even list any deep trans pans

No Racing Parts Dealer

Gator,

We had one Motorsport parts dealer in town, but they closed. I called all of the Ford Dealers on this side of town and no one can get/sell the Ford Racing parts.

Superfords say it's in the new 2003 catologue. If I had the part # maybe I could find it on the net.

Thanks,

John

They Lied!!!

The M-7195-T is for the 4R100 or E40D. There is no new pan for the 4R70W in the catologue.

Looks like B&M or PML for me.

Thanks Everyone!!

John
