...have them destroyed by those freakin brown truck drivin', mono-browed, mouth breathing, knuckle dragging, shallow end of the gene pool UPS guys?

Here's a pic of one pretty well destroyed chrome '02 rim... suppose I better cancel the appointment for the tire mounting tomorrow...

Man, that is a real drag. I worked for them one Christmas about 20 years ago. My job was to load the crap in the back of the tractor trailer rigs. The crap came at ya so fast all you had time to do was throw it in the truck. Some of the full timers there made an art of throwing packages from the conveyor belt 25 ft. into the back of the trailer. Man I saw some stuff just get destroyed. I think about those days everytime someone says they are shipping me something by Brown truck.

Rocks

They do a good job most of the time--I order a lot of chit! My JDM c/b was dropped on the end of the tips. One was bent in but my exhaust guy(Jason at Total Exhaust) made it look like new .

Sorry about your rim though.

That Sucks 2 Cool

True Story, once brown delivery's a Leather jacket to my house, I'm not home and he throws it over the fence. I come home to find my two dogs had ripped it into tiny winy piece all day while I was working So I put all the pieces in a bag, then box it and send it back to the shipper with a short letter saying: "IF YOU THINK THIS IS SOME KIND OF ****ING JOKE, I'M NOT AMUSED" They send me a new one right out.
Then I put a sign on the gate to NOT leave packages behind gate anymore.

What happens here Cool, do you have to put a claim in with Brown ??? or get a new set from the shipper ???
THAT SUCKS either way...

UPS is picking it up tomorrow, as a damage claim return.

Still waiting to hear back from the vendor, but he has a lot of good feedback on Ebay (AArims) and did ship them to me quickly the first time. So here's hoping... I just was so set to have them on the truck tomorrow morning.... the other 3 are real nice, good chrome job for repros.

I had the same thing happen to me when i got my chip back from getting reburned. My 6month old lab puppy got to the box before i did and the funiest thing is that my dog didnt even bother chewing on the chip he just ripped the box to a shred and left the chip where the ups guy layed the box.

Sorry to here about your misfortune with your wheels. I know how excited I would be to get some new wheels. One thing you have to keep in mind, is the volume of stuff they ship. For the most part they do a pretty good, but occassionally chit happens. Fortunately they have insurance to cover those sort of situations.

It's ok to be pissed about the damage to your wheels, but to stereotype every UPS driver the way you did isn't really cool.
Besides, it's highly unlikely it was the drivers fault. I have a lot of friends who work there and they are some cool people. I'm sure wherever you work there has been screw ups also, but it doesn't mean you are a " mono-browed, mouth breathing, knuckle dragging, shallow end of the gene pool guy".

One thing to keep in mind, is you need to be cautious of what you have shipped. There is always a risk of damage and some things are harder to ship than others. Good luck and hopefully everything works out for you.
