Help, got to find this TV!

Hey this is a long shot but I am looking for a rear view mirror TV. The only time I have seen it is on MTV. Redman had it in his Caddy truck on Cribs car edition. It was cool as hell and I got to get one in my lightning. Let me know if anyone knows where to get it!

Ugh, all you need is a LCD in the dash and a rear view camera.....I know my kenwood does it and I'm sure others do as well, my neck works though and my mirrors so I don't need a camera.

Ahhh ok, sounds like the valentine 1 built into a mirror. But a TV in a mirror? too small for me.

My buddy can do this.. he's doing one for me shortly.

Dont expect to use it for DVD's an such, as the biggest lcd you can fit in our mirror is a 2.5". If you use it for a backup camera, you need to make sure the camera you get, has a reverse flip function.. this way the picture is reversed, meaning images are on the correct side of truck when backing up.

Cool let me know how much he could do one for me too. Not to argue with you about the dvd part but the one i saw looked cool playing a movie (small but still cool)

A guy on another chat forum hooked me up with this link also. We both think it could be modified to play movies.

there is nothing to mod in order for it to play video.. it will play any source you hook it to. if thats the only LCD you are gonna use just for dvds, you are gonna be dissapointed.. thats why i have other lcds for the dvd / xbox (larger to view etc) and rear view small 2.5" for backup.. you need to see in person before you decide..

these are just suggestions from someone who has more lcds between my car nad truck, then most do in their house.. lol.

ill keep you posted, ill speak to my buddy.

Hmmm.. no offense but... isn't 2.5" kinda hard to view, even as just a reverse camera? Ive never seen one, maybe im wrong... just curious...

its more of just a stealth install... when lcd is off, not powered, it is reflective, as in you cant tell there is an lcd there.. it blends in with rest of mirror glass..

yes it can be rather small, and if you already have an lcd in the truck, you can just switch the camera source to that screen..

its just a trick custom thing to have.. it does do the trick even though its small, but its custom.. thats mainly what it boils down to..
