BIG PROBLEM, please read

OK. I took my truck in to get the clunk fixed on thursday. They call me today adn say that the front control arm radius pulled out of the housing and it needs to go to the body shop till tuesday or wednesday. It seems suspicious to me. Maybe i am crazy but is it possible that they may have crashed my truck on their lot and need to send it to the body shop till tuesday or wednesday??? If so, and i am goin to check, what do i say or do if it is cracked up! Take pictures? Lawsuit? will i win? Will they just have to fix the damage or replace the truck? Is it even covered by ford even though i signed the work contract? Please help .

Like Spank Dog said. Get over there take pictures and ask lots of questions. Get the service manager involved if he is not yet. Some one may try to cover their a$$. They are responsible but will probably only have to repair it not replace.

Vin,
Your truck was in an accident ,right? Didn't you just get it back.? Could it have been from that?

I wouldn't beleive a word they say man, My place where I bought my truck from tried to lie to me when they scratched the entire front end of the truck up while unloading it of the tralier. The guy tells me that if my truck doesn't come in by the end of the week that he's going to go down to the ford lot and personally bring it back for me. This was when I was waiting 6 months for my 99 to come out after I ordered and payed for it. So I figure what a nice guy you know. Well I'm out in the garage and my buddy comes over and he's like joe why don't you go pick up your truck man. I was like what????? so he tell me there a red L on the lot at nives and I was like dude whats the vin number ( I knew it HAHAHAHA ), so he's like trust me there's one up there and I had the first one to come to the area so thats mine! So I drove up there right there and saw my truck parked in the back of the lot inbetween a couple big vans like they where tring to hide it casue I would stop up there on a regular basis to find out when my truck was coming. So I went over and saw the vin and I was like WTF this is my truck. I'm standing there and my salesman comes out and he's like you got me, so I was like whats going on and he told me the story and told me they where going to fix it tomorrow and then call me. Lying bastard!

So you just can't trust them guys bro. go up there ASAP and find your truck, its your right to know whats going on with it.

Its sad that we cant even trust a dealership not to lie to its best and most loyal customers...thats kinda crap rubs me the wrong way big time. The couple times I had to take mine in was to a "Quick Lane" place , which is supossidly a ford repair center only. Anyhow, I always take the guy at the counter out to look at my truck right off the bat.
I just say "let me show you something real quick man".. when we get out there I have him walk around it with me as I point out things to be "extra" careful with. (after market stuff) I usually then tell the guy that he is now "personally in charge" of my truck, and that if anything bad was to happen in anyway to her that he is the one Im coming for....they usually undertsand what Im saying.

I scared one guy so much on accident he started studdering and his hand was trembling when I handed him the keys. I didnt mean to scare the guy I just wanted him to undertand how I feel about "quality service" ,, oh well
