rmpoutlet package deals?

Has anyone bought or know anything about this deal rpmoutlet offers. I have seen mixed results from it when I searched on it.
The truck is currently stock and I would liek to get the chip and maf out of the way before other things. Is this decent stuff?
Its a 99 L if you couldn't tell by my name

Go with one of the tuners.

If you have any problems there is somebody to go to .

Besides they know more about these trucks then anybody.

JDM, JLP,PSP,REM --Research and pick one.

What Vinnie said!

If you go with rpm, most of 'us' aren't going to be familiar with your mods and therefore, aren't going to be able to offer help that's back-upped with experience(with your rpm setup).

If you go with one(or more as I have) of the Lightning tuners, you will have more help and info than you can use . Our tuners are 'intimate' with our Ls--not so sure about someone else...

Hi is this dominic??

I agree with Vinnie and Dan

Pick one of the tuners on this board, they have the most experiance with the lightnings. Myself I use JDM to do most of my work, and buy mods from, but they are all good.

Look foward to meeting you and your Dad soon

Don

The only problems with the tuners is the prices are higher if I bought all this stuff outright. Like $200 higher.

But thank you for all your input I will take all of it into consideration.

You have to look at the big picture, pay more now or possibly pay a lot more later.
The tuners have proven themselves with there products and service and that you can not put a price on.

Good luck calling RPM outlet if you get a SES or here pinging. I would only trust a reputable tuner with my chip.

I probably will go with one of the tuners, it just goes down to this now. Which intake bang for buck? Superchip or Diablo? And will a stock 90mm Maf do the trick and if so where can I get the boot and maf for cheap?

95 mm mass air? Is that for our trucks.. Go with one of the big tuners as mentioned and the extra $200 will be well spend ... Do it right the first time.. ..Cause you will more then likely get a much superior tuned chip, specificly tuned for your truck...

AVOID RPM

I bought an autometer steering collumn pod and boost gauge from RPM a month ago. They send me the wrong pod and gauge! I call them, they tell me that autometer no longer makes the 150004 for our trucks(a lie), so they sent me the superduty which "should fit". Well, maybe if I took the dremel to it. I like how they assumed I would accept the substitution.

I shipped them it all back and I'm still waiting on the refund. When I posted my experience to the boards, I heard from many people that had similar experiences.

I would never do business with RPM again.

So in other words Im looking at about $600+ for intake, 90mm maf, and a chip tuned to it.

the chip is up to you. They are both good and about the same price. It all depends on what tuner you choose. JDM only uses Superchip and JL uses Diablo.

I run a stock 90mm and have run 11s, so I would not worry about that.
Keep an eye out on NLOC parts section and F150 Classifieds. They are out there.

Wise choice. besides a pulley will give you more bang for the buck.

As much as I hate to say it....but I agree with Vinnie j/k

If you go the "other" way with mods don't expect much help from the tuners themselves. People here, will be more than glad to help, but face it, we aren't the tuners

why don't you call the tuner, maybee if you order a chip and filter at the same time they will knock off a few bucks. It doesn't hurt to ask, the worst thing they can say is no.

Also I would recomend spending a few more bucks and getting a flip chip. That way you can have 2 or more programs to choose from with just a flip of a switch.
