Anybody have any problems with fog light bulbs blowing out? I had the truck a week and the left one blew out. I had that one fixed and today the right one blew out. Has this happenend to anyone else or am I the lucky one.

 

I had one blow the other day and I had my truck about 6 months. I don't think mine should have blown in only 6 months? Ended up putting Sylvania Silverstars (#9005) in, you should try them they are worth the money

 

That's pretty funny - I had both go this week! Must be the state...

Where is a good Place to get the Sylvania's? I went to a local shop when the first one blew and tried to get aftermarket bulbs like PIAA. They said that nobody make aftermarket bulbs for those fogs.:mad:

 

It is a very common problem. Many owners that have had their truck for any length of time have had problems with the fog lights. Both of mine have been replaced.

i blew the right side bulb at 1200 miles two weeks ago. i have never had any problems with fog lights in my '99 or '02... just blown bulbs.

 

you can pick up the head light bulbs as well as the fogs light bulbs at Auto Zone for around 20-25 bux each
