Plugs
Plugs
I am currently running ngk tr6's in truck with a 4lber but i am going to be driving it daily for the next few weeks so i am taking the 4ler off and putting the 2lber on. Is it fine to run the tr6's with just a 2lb pulley?
Leave the plugs in, and don't change the pulley either.....Mine is a daily driver, as long as you don't beat on it every day, or are into boost every time you drive it, you won't hurt anything by driving it normally....Unless you have a specific reason to swap pulleys out, why do the extra work???
Unless you can not control your desire to put your foot through the floor board, I agree that you do not need to remove the 4#
pulley and install a 2# pulley for street use.
I run a 6# lower and a 1.5# upper and TR-6's and would not hesitate to jump in my truck and take off for parts unknown on an extended road trip.
I enjoy having the avaliblity of the added power if I desire to use it. Hell, thats why I bought my truck.
