2000 l to Mod

OK guys...I am usually a diesel man, but when a customer comes to me with a L and says do it..How can I say no???

I have been trying to keep up with the L's, but you guys go through more posts then I can even read...

I feel honored to make a L do it like it was supposed to...

Besides that I want to drive it...

OK, here we go, where to start?? Got to get rid of the 80mm??
then a chip and a 2-6lb pulley...Exhaust???

I need to know who likes who, and why, the product that gets the most vote, may or may not get the final buy-in..

The customer has money, I believe we start with $1500 or so..
then go from there...I should be back regularly with upgrades for the next level..

Does this website have private e-mails???

Thanks for the input guys..

P.S...You guys are great, and almost have the best website...(told you I am diesel at heart)...29000 members at the other place..

Try to find out if the intercooler recall was done. Then I would do the air meter upgrade. Then a chip and a cold air intake kit. Also the 2000's have 3.55 gears, consider going to 3.73 or 4.10. If you go with the 4#er you should defenitely change to a colder spark plug. Then consider the Factory Tech valve body for some awesome shifting....Well have fun, and that L should be hauling a$$ in no time....

Now I am familiar with the factory tech trans man...

Whos chip?? JDM??? I know I am missing someone..sorry..

Whats the air meter upgrade?? and whos pulley, there is only one lower pulley isn't there???

We must tread very lightly around here when talking about tuners.....My Superchip was tuned by JDM and I love it..I meant the mass air meter from 80 to 90 mm...check my sig for mods, times and dyno #'s..

Most guys that upgrade there exhaust go with the JDM/Cooks Headers w/ Hi-flow cat back and either a JDM silver bullet cat-back or Bassini cat-back.

It is worth about 1 1/2 tenths on a stock motor and 2 1/2 tenths on a modded motor.

Quality is fantastic and installation can be done in a driveway.

I figured you had a lift , I was just showing you how easy of an install it is.

It took about 5 hours in a driveway and if you never did one before I would think 4 to 5 hours to be on the safe side.If you were to do a second one then 3-4 hours.

Iam having the Kooks Long tubes, high flow cats installed to my Bassani catback next friday. I was quoted the labor rate of 4 hrs to do the install. But the first thing that the Lightnings like is fresh air and plenty of it Add a lower 4lber to go along with a chip and you will have a high 12 sec plywood hauler
