10 lbs. stock

What's up guys.....seeking any input. My '99 L is completely stock except for JBA headers and a K&N box filter. However, i'm reading just a little over 10lbs on the stock gauge. Wandering if its normal for some trucks to have a little more psi than others, or if the gauge may be incorrect.
-Thanks in advance for your help!

it's possible you are making 10lbs of boost, but the stock gage has been known to be "less than accurate"... just my opinion ...JR

My 100% stock, from the airbox rubber inlet to the exhaust tips, 2003 L is going past 10 psi as well. I think that it may have someting to do with the colder weather. Cold air is more dense than hot air.

Theres the understatement of the year.I think the guage is hooked up to rubberband. It is a joke.

That is why everybody(almost everybody) gets an aftermarket boost guage.

Can we just put this in the FAQ. I hate reading about how much boost the stock rubber band makes. Seems that this comes every week. No offence to anyone new. Hit the search button and too much information will show up. PS the headers will drop boost, but with a stock gauge you'll never know.
