Mecca,

Here is the list of how I got the stance on my Lightning!

Part numbers for the Bell Tech 3/4 kit, shocks, C-section and Caster and Camber kit:

Bell Tech Rear Kit
Part #6419

Bell Tech 3 inch Coils
Part# 4804

Front Shocks Edelbrock
part # 33987

Rear Shocks Doetsch Tech
Part # 4180G

Western Chassis 2 inch A-arms
Part # 2129

Caster Camber kit number from the Ford Dealer
SPO F65Z 3C178 AA Cam-Frt Susp UPR ARM --- QTY -4

SPO F65Z 3B236 BB Cam & BLT ASY- FRT Su --QTY 4

C-section is when you cut out a part of your rear frame with a Plasma Cutter or Salsaw above the rear end and bolt in a C-section. Here is a picture:

The C-section is on the right of the picture and the 2 inch A-arms are in the rest of the picture.

I am sure he has all the info saved in a word document, he has been asked the same question about 100 times.

I guess thats what happens with such a nice ride.

Don's Bolt,

Thank you for the compliment! Yes, I have been asked millions of times about Lowering a Lightning but, it is no problem that is why we have these Lightning sites to help and learn from others with Lightnings and Ford Trucks.

Believe it or not I always have to look at all my receipts for the part numbers.

blowntruck,

The ride with Edelbrock Performer IAS front Shocks is great the Edelbrock rear shocks did not work good on the rear. After that I experimented and purchased a set of Doetsch Tech Nitro Slammer shocks they worked great in the rear but, not good in the front. I experimented with 3 different brands of shocks. The Bell Tech shocks that came with the 3/4 kit sucked the ride was horrible and 1 of the shocks began leaking in the first week I had them installed.

I really wanted a smooth ride and shocks that good handle turns! I really like the combination I have now!

Thanks G. I have the Doetech too but I hate the way the front rides.

One last question for you though, the website says that part number you gave for the shock is only for a 2" drop? Correct?

blowntruck, Correct on the part Number for the Edelbrock Shocks! I had the same shocks on when I had only the Bell Tech 3 inch coils which gave me 2 inch drop and when I added the 2 inch A-arms they gave me another 1 inch drop, I kept the same Edelbrock shocks on it made no difference.

There is a Car Dealer in Hawaii with a 2002 Black Lightning with Harley Wheels and tires and he took off the Lightning Badges on the front fenders and added Harley Badges to his fenders his Black Lightning looks cool with those Harley rims!!!

Your Lightning looks Awesome!!!

What other parts are included in the Belltech rear kit besides Shackles? I have 2" DJM Drop shackles in the back and the same exact Belltech Springs. Im shooting for the EXACT drop you have, because I love it. Thanks a lot for your help man, appreciate it.
