lower pulley help PLEASE

lower pulley help PLEASE

i cant get the engine to stop from rotateing when pulling on the pulley.

You need the trans/converter lock-up tool...

Well, not really without risking damaging something....You could probably make the tool yourself..It is simply a piece of metal, 1/4 inch thick or better with two holes in it on each side. You have to go under the truck remove the inspection plate (2 bolts), and you can see the converter. You would place the tool on one of the converter studs, and line up the other hole with one of the holes from the bolt you removed from the inspection cover, and put that bolt back in. This will keep the engine from spinning. Remember that the pulley is reverse threaded. Good Luck...
