anybody widen 20" replicas?

curious if anyone has done this mod yet or if they know someone and if they have some more info on who to contact to get this done?

I just can't handle a 295 tire on the rear anymore, I need more width and a wider tire cause you can barely use the power you have now you know.

I think another 1 inch to 2 inches would be the most I could widen from what I have heard before, but that would be more then 9inches now you know. so every little bit helps.

so what do you guys got for me?

I'm also thinking of what to do for tires and I'm also thinking that most of us run the dunlops in 295 and those tires are squezzed onto most of rims now cause there supposed to be on a 11inch wide rim about. so with a wider rim will that also help with the dunlops traction and there width?

I think that all of us could benefit from some more traction, but I bet this isn't something cheap to do. That concept ranger with the widened wheels comes to mind.

the gen 3 Lightnings better have 11Inch wide rims. 20" sounds good size as well. How else are they planning to make 500hp more noticably then 380!

Good point. Those were stock 18's and not 20's but they were pretty dang wide. And I am suffering from the problem with the 20's as well. I am mainly stock and having bigtime problems with traction. Let us know if you find anything and give us some details, I am sure alot of us are curious.

I realized that, but it said that ford had our wheels widened for that truck and the front wheels were made smaller as well, thats why I brought it up. I wonder who they used to do it.

we need wider tires though, there's not to much wider then 295 or some 305's that I saw with a lower traction compound

Hey Joe......sorry I gave the wrong link earlier.

These guys in Michigan are the dudes who widened BABolt's wheels and several others like HIGH RISK etc.
