for those with JL airbox - question
I have the newer model... nice piece! It looks great with the cover on and my stock airbox decal affixed to the top of it...
anyways, do you have anything going from the end of the box into the wheel well housing? The stock rubber boot is too big it seems.

Ken, I just got the JLP Ram air a few weeks ago. There is nothing that goes from the end of the box into the fender well on mine either. BUt make sure the cut-out-tab on the box slides into the coolant reservoir. Hope this helps.

I added nothing on the end. By the time it was all in place the open end of the box was probably 1/2" or less away from the opening in the fender. You can kinda see how close it was in this picture.....

Thanks for any additional info.
Mine is actually quite a bit more than a 1/2 inch. It is pinching the reservoir tube so I have it pushed away from the fender as much as possible to not crimp it down completely...
