Ran IT20's with a 4# in the summer, had some detonation when the A/C was blasting and under light throttle tip in. The chip program was too aggressive but that is a different issue altogether and not relevant to your question.
Replaced them after 10K miles with IT22's, no problems whatsoever.
Go with a colder plug and be safe.

About a hour to change them
Go for the money and get the Denso IT-22's, here's why.
many people as you see are happy with TR-6's, but just as many are not. They are of course the plug of choice and that’s partially because they are 18.00 compared to 80.00 for Denso's.
My personal experience was a bad idle from them. As for the heat range, why I like denso's are because you can run the colder 22's and be safe and give yourself a little room for error in a tune, yet because of their design, you are pretty much guaranteed a great idle and no misses. Another words they're more forgiven if you know what I mean. The main thing is THEY DO take more heat out of the cylinder than a TR-6 will and heat is bad for a Lightning.

I switched to BR7's on Sal's advice after
roasting some TR6's ...
The average first time plug change prolly
will take about 4 hours ... <grin> But you get
better with experience
DENSO= big $ = $ 80 - 90 dollar

TR5's with a 5# pulley. The TR6 gave me a slower MPH. The TR5IX Iridium burns more like the TR6 and has the same MPH as the TR6.
Jimmy (DealerJim, NRG2ENV) and Cory (CodeRed) run TR5's with a 4# pulley.
We are running JDM programs setup for TR5's. Get with your chip tuner for the plug that's best for your tune. One size does not fit all.
