Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't get the new belt on after a 6# install. It is the correct belt (both pulley and belt from PSP). I've tried it all, even taking an idler off and trying that. I've mainly tried to get it on the passenger idler last after pulling down on the tensioner. Is there a secret??? Help!!!!!!!!

Ya sounds like you have to break the stop.

Also it sounds like you were doing it right, get the belt over the upper pulley, then push the tensioner, and slip the belt inbetween the tensioners.

Thanks for the help. I never thought of breaking the stop off. I went out and tried one last thing waiting for replies. I took the driver idler off and managed to slip it back on when the tensioner was on the stop. So the bi!ch is on but has absolutely no play. Hope there isn't such a thing as too tight
