And to anyone else is, is this a good kit/worth the money or should i spend more if theres soemthing better, i just want a simple 1/2 drop, anyones opinions are wanted here, thanks people.

Hey FLBigdog.

Curious to know how you have you subs setup? Now do you have it so you have a vent that goes in the cab of the truck? I've considered doing a setup like yours in my quest for more bass (as if 3 10" subs behind my seat wasn't enough) but I don't have the heart and guts to cut a hole in my truck, plus theres the weight factor so I would have to be able to remove the boc and subs to go racing somtimes. Any more info on how you have it setup would be appreciated.

I don't know if it would be safe to have that much bass with this in the back with it though, HAHAHAHA.

Haha I would never cut into my truck, it took me three days to tape off the friggin badges so I could acetone them, I just drove aroudn with blue tape all over them. As for venting and such, I usually just keep the fade all the way in the front to i can just listen to the components, but when i do turn the fader back to the middle, I get so much bass there really is no need to vent you can hear and feel it, its awesome. I had the setup in my old tahoe and with the subs actually in the car after a while i couldnt stand it so when i got the L over the summer and hooked it up i was so much happier. As for the setup, its completley removable, the wire run throguh a hole in the bottom on the bed up under the truck and into the engige and is all siliconed to leave no holes, the 3 wires that run in and out can just be unplugged and removed, its a great setup. Funny story the first night i took the truck out, i was driving it around, doing stupid things, and suddenly the bass shuts off. I pull into the next gas station open up the bad, and uh the whole box was sitting against the tailgate and ALL of the wires had been ripped out. I almost sh*t my pants right there. But I drove hoem nice and slow and rewired everything and set those boards inside to hold it in, those are a lifesaver in there. As with your nos setup I dont know how much I can help you there, honestly with how this thing hits, i sometimes have to tighten up the bedcover, the slits int he bed and around the edges of the bed cover provide the perfect vents overall, it trully sounds great. Hopes this helps out, basically yes they are removable, yes it sounds good and nos, I dont need no stinkin' nos.

I can easily feel and hear it in the cab, there is NO pass through, and all the pics I have right now are in the gallery, I will get you guys so more pics soon. The Box is against the back of the bed and it literally shakes the whole car. I dont know how it passes through but you really can hear it and its quite clear, I love the whole setup.

Nice Setup!!!!!

if i could put my subwoofer in the bed, that would make life soo much easier. the box i have for my subs doesnt fit well at all in the truck. I have a JL 10W7 and that sub requires a lot of air space. i was thinking about putting it in the bed but i dont know if i have enoug bass to hear it in the cab. ill have to try it one of these days.
