Brand new to forum and need some advice

Hi guys (and girls also I'm sure)...I'm brand new to this forum...I have been actively looking for an 03 Lightning for the past week here in Socal...I have always loved the look of the "beast" and finally have decided to get one...Besides, a friend of mine has a blown and bottle fed Dodge RT, and I would love to kick his *** some day although he runs 11.80's @124, but then he again he has an additional 50K in his truck...
I've got some pretty good pricing (I think), $31,100 plus T&L...Is this good?...My problem is that after seeing the 2004 or 2005 concept, I want those 500 ponies now...Is this truck for real next year ?

Thanks in advance

Greg

It's a concept. The production model may not look like the concept. But you can guarentee SVT will use the aluminium 5.4L DOHC blown motor out of the GT40 for the next Lightning; but possibly not to such detail as the concept truck.

$31,000 sounds very high...look at dealers outside of Cali and you can do better. You won't see the next Lightning for a couple years....so...that decision is up to you.

GATOR & SPANKDOG are right. So if ya want one now, get it, but don't pay sticker! If you dont get a-plan, get one now, winter is when they sit on 'em, and would like to move them....although that may not be an issue in Cali. I get a-plan, but my dealer won't give it on svt's and I owed a few grand on my trade in so I got raped. This truck is awsome, but it's NOT ANYWHERE worth the 38+ grand I ended up having to pay for it...get a deal or tell them frgetit...

Once again guys, if $31,100 is not a good price, then clue me in on what a good price would be in Socal or anywhere else...They window here for about $33,400...Isn't that the same price where you guys live ???

Thanks

Greg

If you don't have access to discount plans, then $31,000 is not too bad, others have paid more, some less. Guess it all depends on how far you want to go to save a few bucks.........

They should go to 29,500 if they have 5 or more on the lot
29,500 they still make money..Be smart..

OH one other thing..Just get it and pay on it..and love it!! And everytime you write the check just say to yourself or go out and look at it and say...

"its worth every F@#$ing PENNY!!"
