HARDWIRING RADAR DETECTOR to overhead console

I thought I had it saved...I dont Someone on this site has an excellent step by step with pics...

I want to give it to a friend.

Does anyone have the link saved?? I tried search..BOY THAT WAS FUN!!! NOT

All you need is a wire t-tap and connect to a switched wire. Any switched wire will work. It will come on and go off with the ignition. I'd reccomend the wire behind the stereo and run it up the a-pillar rather than the light wires in the console. The console wires are a real small gague and might not support the detector and the lights/compass.

Which wire behind the stereo are you talking about?
