A few ?/thoughts

Fellow L owners:

1)I bought an '02 about a month ago and I know that I'm in the "launched plug" category. Is this due to the threads in the head expanding due to heat and throwing the plug out or are the plugs themselves actually unscrewing themselves from the head? I don't mind checking to see if they're tight, but if the heads can't hold them in place due to expansion, then that's another story.

2)Does anyone know if Herb's Clunk Removers are still being manufactured and how to get them? Also, can anyone tell me or show me with a picture where these camber bolts go that everyone keeps writing about? Mine clunked the day I brought it back from the dealership. I thought something major had gone wrong?

3)Are we permanently relegated to bracket style racing for these trucks? I understand the benefits of this type of racing, but it would be nice to be able to "run what ya brung" and the fastest L take the gold for the day. I guess I'm just more of a heads up type of guy.

4)I'm thinking of running a four pounder with nitrous. Has anyone ever heard of any nasty backfires with N2O? The engine can probably withstand it, but I'm just worried about the trans unloading on me due the sudden on slaught of spray. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Be more concerned about your block looking like swiss cheese than your tranny not handling the torque

"Heads-up" is all I do. This is on my track's Test-n-Tune night. I line up with anything.
