I was just wondering what you guys take more pride in, your homes, or your Lightnings??

Most of my money goes toward my house and for my first child who is due in the beginning of June.
Unfortunately that doesn't leave much for mods to the L.

Houses gain value.... cars do not.

 

well when i get my insurance money for my truck, i am thinking about getting ahouse instead of a lightning, so i guess i will spend a lot more on my house.

 

Well, I'm gonna 'skew' the numers because I'm so much older than most of you. I paid off the mortgage on our house last year. Therefore, more of my attention/money goes into the L while my wife attends more to our house/yard. She likes it .--yard work, that is.

I care more about my Lightning. My home will be on the market within 6 months (getting a new job).

 

Damn its hard to say, I know I clean and wax my truck more than my house. I also let people come and go as they please in my house, gave my girl friend a key to my house, but to hell with letting people drive my truck as they please or even letting my girlfriend have a key to it! On the same hand, like mentioned before, my townhouse has made me 40,000 so far since I bought it. The truck has only cost me money. In the end, I would obviously give up the truck before the house.

You know it's funny, not to brag or anything. But I bought my townhouse when I was 20 and really no one ever said much about it, only occasionaly, girls didnt exactly notice or care. But now that I bought some 30,000 dollar truck its like all the girls want to be your friend. WTF?? It seems that others care more about what you drive than the fact that you are responsible and have your priorities straight.

If it wasn't for my house I could be driving a Lambo and living with my parents still, but that wouldn't make much sense ....

 

Yea my parents care more about the house than cars, actually, it may not be our house for too much longer, there are some thoughts to moving, too bad, i wish they would give me and my bro the house

 

More about the house right now. I'm getting married in June and we just signed the contract on a new (to us) home! I can't wait to get the keys so we can start on painting and removing carpet. I'm so excited, I can hardly stand it! It has a 2.5 car garage with a heater! Pleanty of room for my L and lots of boxes with new mods in them.

The house would always come first. You always need someplace to live, and if I was tight for money I would rather know that my $1000 a month house payment is doing something for ME then simply putting into somebody else's pockets.

Right now I have both an Lightning and a F150 HD, but one, the other, or both would go away before I'd put the house up for sale and I'd be driving a two year old Focus or maybe a crotch rocket.

Well, we kinda thought about moving at 1st, but no would buy the house, anyone know anyone that may be interested, my parents kinda wanna move to Lake Travis

I have a small schitty house and a Big Black Beautiful Lightning, you know where my money goes.

Hopefully some day I can retire in the back of it, because I sure as hell won't have a dime to live on. I keep telling the little guy, I'm moving in with him when the time comes and he's gonna wipe my *** just like I did his for the first 5 years of his life.
