Question cold weather

Should weather below 50 degres make my truck run terrible? When the outside temp drops below 50, my truck starts flooding real bad and missing when I get on it real hard. At first I thought it was a coil pack going bad, but when it warms up above 50 degrees it runs just fine. Could this be a problem with the chip?

might try getting a cold weather tune, i know that when it gets cold the pcm advances timing ontop of what was on the chip, doesnt sound like detonation to me though, but a cold weather tune might help
