NFS, in Metairie, not far from your hotel, one of my favorites is La Riveria, an Italian/Seafood rest. on Shores Dr. excellent northern Italian, and some great seafood dishes, like crabmeat ravioli, and crawfish spagetinni. a good "eats" place is a little farther toward NO, in Bucktown (still Metairie) called R&O. good seafood, sandwitches, muffalettas. the locals eat here, while the tourists are across the street at "Deanie's". on the westbank in Avondale (about 15-20 minutes from Kenner) is a little rest called "Mosca's". it looks like an old gas station , but has great food (dinner only). lunch places for sandwitches & hot meals near you are, Garces (great cuban sandwiches) on Williams Blvd, Kenner. Smilies on Jefferson Hwy a few blocks from you. Comeback Inn on W Metairie, around the corner from your hotel,

well it's almost lunchtime, and were heading to Smilie's
I need to start traveling again to N.O. I've been to Deanie's plenty of times. I have also visited The Flying Cow, Barracas, and always try to go downtown to visit the Harra's.
I usually also stay in Metairie at the Ramada Limited on Causway Blvd and Veterans.

I find it pretty funny that this thread has gone 4 pages and has absolutely nothing to do with Lightnings. Countless threads with much more relevance to Lightnings have been moved, but apparently a kid with a 'celebrity' dad gets amnesty on the ' about Lightnings' rule.

My buddy @ work used to be the Drummer for Kansas.Eventually these guys retire and they are just regular guys[although VERY talented].
He's also got some pretty wild stories from his days on the road!

MRBBQMAN is now a nationally syndicated food critic. I read a write up he did in our local paper about Taco Bell employees not washing thier hands and giving everybody Hepatitis. Thanks for the warning MRBBQMAN.

My dad is Neal Armstrong and I bet he got more "Tang" then your dad
