Check it out....I hope they have the '05 Lightning there. Last year they didn't have an L at all...Not even a Cobra. What the hell is FORD doing?

There is only ONE Lightning concept. It is at Detroit now. No way to know what will make it to the various other shows...

2005 may be optomistic.. I couldnt get anyone to commit to a date for production. Dont forget the current Lightning plant ( Ontario ) is going away. They have to move production somewhere else...

I would volunteer to drive the Lightning Concept truck from Detroit to Philly, with a few stops at the many Hooters I will be driving past

yeah, last years show pretty much sucked as far as ford's display, and any concepts. it'll probably be the same this year. No L's, no HD's, no cobra's, no gt40

i'm going tomorrow though, i'll post pics if there's anything interesting

There won't be an '05 there. There is only the one concept, and that's in Detroit at our Auto Show for the next 10 days or so. (Saw it today- absolutely incredible).

As far as lack of production models go (no L, no Cobra), blame your area dealers, not ford. Smaller auto shows rely on dealerships to provide product.

the ford display was a big letdown
the 49 ford concept kind of made up for it though, but still dissapointed that there was no SVT vehicles there, and no HD's

still worth the 10 bucks to get in, just not the 4 bucks for a pretzel and 3.50 for a drink
