I think what izzy meant is that concept truck was not released last year, it's the original "Triton" concept truck that led to the new body change for 97.

BTW, if Ford built that as the next Lightning, I'd order one today. That new "thing" (and if you want you can use the word THING to compare it to the Volkswagon THING) is horrid. I might like it if I were Buck Rogers. Just my opinion though, thank god it will change for production.

 

Yeah - I am dumb. I just found that concept photo on another thread and knew it was old, just not sure how old. No wonder I like it so much! I'll work on ideas for the THING next week...

if ford made the L look like that i would order one also. it looks faster to me!!! 32 valver and that body design would make our L look like 1993-95 models. just my opinion. way cool photos thanks
