Question About head lights and fog lights...

I recently bought some aftermarket hyperwhite bulbs for the fogs and head lights and I am not too impressed, my fog lights are already cracked and screwed up becuase of rocks and stuff. What do you guys recommend for nice looking Hyperwhite style bulbs, I have heard silverstar before and was wondering how those look or if anyone else has any other reccomendations and where I can purchase them from. Another question of mine is that I plan on calling SVT directly to discuss getting new fogs because now one doesnt even work at all let alone there is a crap load of water collected in it and the other one is on its way out the door, would if I called SVT and told them I had aftermarket bulbs in there and the water collected by the broken fog caused the bulb to break would they reimburse me for the aftermarket lights as well or should I even tell them that I had replaced the bulbs? Any comments or pictures or tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

-Patrick

I only use PIAA bulbs for my fogs. One of these days I'll switch'm to HID's, I'm just lazy.

I wouldn't recommend telling Ford that you have aftermarket bulbs. They are likely to claim that the bulbs were not installed correctly and thats why your lights are breaking. Anything to avoid honoring the warranty... Just my $.02 though. I could be wrong

BTW- Thats a nice truck you got going there, according to your sig.

I have the Krypton Showoff headlight bulbs and I used the Sylvania silverstars for my foglights. The Showoffs have a little bit of blue tint to them which I like and they are much better than the stockers were. I just put the silverstars in today and I must say they were worth every penny. It is a very bright white, no blue tint at all. Visibility improved with both sets of lights.

I got the silverstars from Autozone and the Showoffs off of ebay

Does anyone have any pictures of their headlights, how they look and such, with the Krypton showoff bulbs they dont run any hotter than others do they, because thats exactley what I am looking for a blueish colored tint to the lights, and do they make fog lights also, with the piaa what do they cost and where can i find those and are they white light or do they have a ting also, i just want the truck to shine when i drive around and stand out amongst the others. I want to check out the silerstars also, can anyone throw some prices at me for these and where to find them all thanks.

Silverstar's in both fog and headlight...like 'em both!

go to their website to get an idea of how they look compared to others...

I think I paid $20 on sale each less a $10 rebate? (at Autozone)
