If you purchased your Caltracs from us, then they will clear the Bassani. We redesigned the front plates to clear, and Calvert built the new style for us. If you have the standard F-150 setup, they will not work. Easy way to tell.. If your front plates have one hole to mount the bar in, they will work. If your front plates have two holes to mount the front bar in, they won't. Hope this helps.

Im alittle confused Sal, please forgive me. The front plates that go to the spring eye has 3 holes....... One for the top bolt, one larger for the spring eye and then one for the bar to hook to. Do I have the correct plates? Thanks! Keith

I bought a set used from a guy over @ the NLOC..mine has two holes for the link to go in...instructions say choose which one works best or experiment...Are these OK for the Lightning if they are for the regular F-150? I have the stock exhaust tips with a magnaflow x over and no clearane problems....Is there any other differences between the stock F-150 Caltrac setup and the Lightning...

Also...The front Caltrac bracket has the two holes..Would it be OK to have one side in the lower hole and one side in the upper...Would this work if the preload is adjusted correctly or would this change the instant center and upset the dynamics?
thanks..

The regular F-150 ones work fine, they just don't clear the Bassani exhaust because the tailpipes are back further. That's why I designed the Lightning specific ones back in 2000, to clear the Bassani exhaust that we all had on our trucks back then.
