Just FYI, I don't drag race.
It stays since you can see a Lightning in the pics, and that shows that one can actually pull stuff with these things.
That is a beautiful bike man!! I am sure you can't wait until the weather gets a little warmer and the tracks open back up. Are you going to change those suspension components out, or are they revalved units in there now?
Clearly a good buy!

E-LO, that is a great looking 600. I've been looking for a good used one for the track. Have you been to the Grand Prix Raceway in Talladega, AL. Some buddies and I took a road trip down there one spring and attended a track day there. I had my '97 TL1000S and had a blast. I remember seeing Josh Hayes pull up in this Super Duty F250 with his 600 in the back. He wasn't even the fastest guy there. I've been going over to Hallett near Tulsa but the big gixx seems to be way too much for the smaller, tighter tracks. Good luck with the new track bike.

If you are looking for some good and cheap bikes just to do some track days go here www.wera.com and check out the classifieds.
Some of the big bikes are more suited for big tacks like Road Atlanta or VIR with long straights so they can use that power.
