Boss wanted to run em !!
I just got back from town a few minutes ago and got to race my 3rd boss 5.4 truck LoL. I mean come on what are they thinking, Me <---- supercharged.....They <------- not lol. So far all three have been teenage or barley 20 year old drivers.
Anyway I toyed with him for a bit and made him think he had somthing, but then when he got that i am gonna smoke you grin. I crushed him like the over priced egg he was LoL.
Have a fun and safe weekend Gents and ladies>><<

Not sure what the Mach 1 has to do with the Boss... but otherwise here's the post ... looks a lot better than I could get in my old '01 Cobra, likely due to the live axle instead of the damn bunny-hopping IRS...

WOO HOO!!! Took the Mach 1 to the track!!
I heard Hallsville was open today so I decided to take the Mach to see what she would do. I was expecting 13.7-13.9s at the best since the motor just turned over 1500 miles and I knew my driving wouldn't be that great. My best pass was a 13.4 at 105.5mph!! I feel with a little more seat time I can whittle it down a few tenths more. I had trouble launching and the 1st to 2nd shift caused a bit of tirespin so I know there is a few more tenths left in her. I had a total of 5 passes, three were 13.5s at 105 and one was a get acquinted 13.7 at 105.8mph (first pass ever in the car.) If somebody can host it, I will scan the quickest timeslip and post it.
I am excited as I didn't think it would mph this high. I received a bunch of compliments on the car and met some cool people (including a guy who frequents this board and drives a very sweet and very fast black LS1 Camaro. Sorry I forgot your name but I do remember what those tailights look like!!! Let me know how the pics turn out.)
I ran the car the way I drove off the dealership...stock tires with the spare in the trunk. I tried varying my launch rpm to keep from either bogging or spinning. On the 13.4 run, I believe I launched approx 2k. The temp was approx low 60s. It is a 5 speed.
A great day to be at the track!!

Not a problem.
I just wish I could find people to race me around here... only thing I have had for lunch lately was a midnight snack on an '02 shadow grey HD... most of the LS1 guys run and hide when I come up on them.

Nice Kill Jwasted
Ya I hear you with the nobody wants to race our L's.
I think I've dusted all the 5.0's, 4.6's, GT's, Vette's, Dodge RT's, Monte's, etc around here. I did have fun with a Fire Hawk a few weeks ago, we drove together for quite sometime and kept bring it down to maybe 30 and then going for it. After totally blowing him away three time from that 30 mph roll up to over a hundred we hit a light. SOB got me there, it was 22 degrees out and we all know F-1's are useless from a dead stop at that temp. Light turned green he simply released the clutch at maybe 2500-3000 hooked up and took off, I thought I was at the track and WOT it
I immediatly smoked the tires off the rim and no matter how many times I came off the gas and back on it, I just kept spinning, I did the good old side ways up the block routine. A 4 cyl could have got me off the line that night.
The funny part is he turned into the apartment complex I was going to, TO PICK UP MY 28" HOOSIERS. Don't worry, I'll get the little bastard when I meet up with him on those. Then as I'm leaving the complex, I pull up to a 03 Supercharged Cobra
Thank God he had his directional on and was cutting a left. I don't think I could have taken another lose that night.
Happy motoring
