Eh, sounds kinda high to me, but if it's at a dealer, I'd expect that. Personally, I wouldn't go above $6k.

A little on the cheap side. A 93, with that many miles, they're going for around $7000-7500 now. That's considered a low-miler

Dealer? Private seller? Any modifications?

Cheap-side? Heck, I was looking at a '94 at the dealership when I decided to pick up my '02... It was $7,000, in pretty good shape, with 70k on the odometer.

Sure, they're great trucks, and I'd still love to own a Gen1... But that still sounds high to me.

Its better to buy the later models 94 or 95.The problems were the trannys. They all use the E4od's , but improvements were made in 94 AND more in 95. My 95 ran like a champ with zero tranny problems.I have known more than a few 93's that had trannies replaced or repaired. This is common knoledge with the Gen I crowd. Sal from PSP can also verify this.

BlkBanshee, I think you may be right. Statistically, they should be higher, but with the economy the way it is, cars are hard to sell. I did a few searches, and they're selling for much cheaper than they were previously, and should be. So, you could probably squeeze for it to go cheaper. Either way, buy it I couldn't imagine ever giving up my L, even for a Gen2.

Depends on the part of the country you are in. Here in the south that is really cheap.[ I hvae a 1994 and a 2002 I get offers on the 1994 all the time... And I see them sell for as much as 10K with that many miles.

Last year I almost bought a red '93 with 18,000 miles on it that was 100% stock. Still looked and smelled new. Sold for $9,000.
