Question a 600+hp Lightning?.... For Real?

this was found inside the post made about "waxing an L".. was a link to this company. Sounds awesome, but 600+hp can be made with a Gen2?

One can only assume they got their 600+hp from an "at the motor" estimate. With the mods they listed and a 100 shot, they could be making power in the low 500's at the wheel. So they are probably just guessing, which I don't see anything wrong with.

However, one would expect better mph out of the thing being that it only ran 11.791@114

I don't know boys, 6lb lower pulleys and 100 shots on a stock block just don't mix to well.

I need a pit crew like that.

11.7s is impressive in my book, especially on a stock block.

Did you notice a 6# and nitrous on a stock block.

11's is impressive for a STREET LIGHTNING

But, for RACE LIGHTNING, well since I've seen a few 10's sec runs, guess thats happen's when you live in the heart of tuner country

With spray hell yes it is possible. I'll bet both Jim and Sal make over 600hp on the spray.

Just to be PC I put JDM and PSP in alphabetical order only.....not showing favoritism to anyone........jeez these boards are getting rediculous.

Didn't Bill do a 11.7 with a 100 shot of nitrous and a 2# lower pulley.

The timeslip seems correct, however I estimate my engine HP at 525
see sig

I dynoed 447.8 with a 4# Pulley and have since gone to a 6#. No Nitrous

I remember when sprio did a 11.40 with a 2lb lower and a 150 shot at WFC4. stock manifolds, stock TB, stock plenum, and tr6's to boot. He didn't tell sal until after he ran it though, HAHAHAHAHA. Everyone couldn't beleive it when he did it cause everyone thought he was only running his 75 shot still, HAHAHAHHA. I remember when he told me not to say anything and to watch him though, HEHEHEHE that truck was screaming for dear life!

Chris,

It is true. Bret Raisor is Mike raisor's son. They own Mike Raisor Ford in Lafayette, Indiana. They are a huge Saleen and Roush dealer up there. They are a dealer of JDM parts. I am not sure on the exact numbers for the dyno wise. They are a JDM dealer and that truck has just about everything form us on it.

Justin@JDM

PS- Glad your issues with your chip are all worked out.
