I thought I was reaching the "geezer" level (44 on Jan. 22)
(what with all the twenty-somethings on this board...)

but if Fast Gator sez 46 is a "kid", then I'm happy.

Nice Kill

Happy New Year all...and drive safe!

"To offset the Spartan low-end torque that is the nature of 4-valve engines, Kenny lowers the final drive ratio to 4.10:1 for off the line acceleration and a bigger punch in passing gear."

Umm.... Does that make as little sense to everyone else as it does me? "To offset brutal low-end power, we gave it lower gearing, to be able to accelerate better."

$16,800 to upgrade the Marauder? I don't think so.

For $50 K, I could do better.

I love the Marauder concept, but Ford needs a two-door blown convertible, like it was showing last year at the auto shows, and for significantly less than $40 K
