Sounds great right now, but I heard that it will get even louder after it gets "broken in"....

seriously though, what he means is that those new band clamps that they come with look great, but don't hold worth chit!
From what I remember, my bassanni changed/improved in tone very noticeably in just a couple of days. It'll probably stink and burn for a couple of days and then sound nice.
good luck.

Jason,
Where the only problem might arise is where the X-pipe clamps to the Cat pipes. Ford clamps their exhaust so tight (and it IS a good thing) that it crimps the Cat pipes. If you are concerned with it coming loose, I suggest you have it spot welded at this point.
I can send you clamps at no charge but the factory clamps will do the same job as the clamps I send. You tell me what you want and I'll do whatever it takes to make you happy and relaxed.

ok, thanks for your support buddy. I think ill just have it welded in place right there to be extra safe! Hopefully the shop i took it to will do that and for not too much $
ok the stock clamps as in the stockers from bassani or the stock ones from the stock exhaust system? Oh and Tim do you mean you can send me bassani stock clamps or the L stockers?
