Is this true with all aftermarket exhaust systems? (ie, Silver Bullet, Flowmaster, MAC?)

Jason,

Like blown318 said, give it a month, maybe less, and it will get louder. I'm glad you're happy, this makes my day, thanks!

If you used the clamps that came with it, just wait, it will get really loud one day.

LMAO!!!

seriously though, what he means is that those new band clamps that they come with look great, but don't hold worth chit!

From what I remember, my bassanni changed/improved in tone very noticeably in just a couple of days. It'll probably stink and burn for a couple of days and then sound nice.

good luck.

later,
chris

Thumbs up

mine sounded sweet from the start. It only got slightly louder/deeper. Either way it's music to the ear

BTW I got mine from LFP, and it came with the OLD style clamps. MUCH more secure. There wasn't a chance mine was going anywhere.

Jason,

Where the only problem might arise is where the X-pipe clamps to the Cat pipes. Ford clamps their exhaust so tight (and it IS a good thing) that it crimps the Cat pipes. If you are concerned with it coming loose, I suggest you have it spot welded at this point.

I can send you clamps at no charge but the factory clamps will do the same job as the clamps I send. You tell me what you want and I'll do whatever it takes to make you happy and relaxed.

Tim

ok, thanks for your support buddy. I think ill just have it welded in place right there to be extra safe! Hopefully the shop i took it to will do that and for not too much $
