Jim puts his shop number on all of his ads, and im pretty damn sure you can find it on any search engine on all of the lightning related message boards etc. Some of you people need to grow up. If you have nothing to say that contributes to the question better than just bashing then you need to keep your mouth shut

Like, um. YOU

Happy New Years...

I may poke fun at the tuners every now and again. But I think I speak for most when I say that we APPRECIATE YOU VERY MUCH! That goes for ALL Tuners and supporting vendors! Thanks!

Jim,

That is one heck of an inventory load. I'm not trying to be a smart *** here, but I own an HVAC company, which has an average cost of parts and equipment that is much higher than automotive parts and I would crap all over my warehouse manager if he had that much money(cash flow) tied up in inventory.

Wink

400K might seem like a lot, but what that boils down to is:
a month supply of Lightning/Harley/Cobra parts and,
RobG's wrecked truck

Holy cow Jim. $400k in wholesale inventory! I hope you are doing at least $600k a month in retail sales. I never knew you guys had so much business.

And for the gentlemen who has not received his Silverbullet, I will start to build Silverbullets tomorrow.

When we posted the special we sold out of stock in a day and a half.
We canceled the special after selling twenty two of them .
The F150 board members asked us if we could keep to our original date of the special till January 1st., at that point I had Justin post that they would not be shipped till January.
The other eighteen that are on back order are OK with that.
I tried to do the right thing by ending the special when we ran out of stock.
We are building thirty of them the beginning of January.

Hope this helps and Happy New Year.

Jim@JDM

Thanks jim First of all, prior to my order, i've heard nothing but good things about your company. And i apreciate your help and Justins i talked to him on the phone today, he said he'd take care of it and i would get my exhaust by January 9th. Thats fine i dont mind waiting. and sorry to make a big deal out of just a mix up on shipping and communication. Good luck with Buisness and have a good new year. I didnt mean to make a post in any negative way about your company, but i do appreciate everyone's input. Thanks again and happy new year, Shane McKenna

Hope everyone get's there parts. I've always had good service with Jim and will continue to buy from him. Hope everyone has a great year.
RTKILLA, Joe, recommend a new years resolution for you to mature a bit. I have seen new posters come to this board and graduate to the implicit respectful protocols we should extend to fellow L owners. You have remained in place from the beginning. Good luck in life. R/S Dennis

My 03

2003 is only one hour away Jim, but I must commend you on one thing.

You have been trying. Now only if you could stop lying.

I have never delt with JDM or any tuner except the dealer were I bought my Lightning (i live in canada i don' think there is such thing a a lightning tuner up here) the dealer chipped mine, K&N filter, and Pulleyed mine I was happy, the motor blew and it was all under warrenty no problems. I' am not so sure I want to deal with JDM for mods for my 03, then again maybe I should. Will I learn a lesson? Who knows.

Happy new year guys

I can't believe you guy's would order from expensive stuff from a few Initials written reputably and ever so imposingly in CAPITOL letters. JDM, what does that really mean? Personally it seems to me, if one only advertises in forums or rather, if the only contact is through a post you have seen online. This in and of itself doesn't mean this entity has your best interests in mind. Just because there is a magic dust sworn to you from someone, somewhere over on the other end of your box dowen't mean it is so.

Who is this JDM inc.? Has anyone seen him? Why so many complaints about this guy, and if they are legitimate complaints, why is the JDMinc.'er allowed to continue to post here?

Cavaet emptor
I believe the Ringling Bros. had a saying in this regard.

Man, and I thought us Californian's were gullible.

Always buy from someone worth sueing. Words of wisdom

um...... I could break this down and go piece by piece of everything wrong, confusing, and for a lack of better word stupid, I am going to regather myself on my view on this excessive tuner bashing.
If you had a problem with a tuner, you can voice your problem. If something for me was 5 weeks late I would be pissed too, and it would definatley be heard on this board. If something goes wrong then start your thread, vent some anger, say what went wrong, and forever condemn the company to the underworld. And ofcourse if someone asks about a company, just tell em what happened.
That company mistreats another company, relate by saying what happened (it would probabley be easier to establish a link). Thats how normal people do it (maybe I should say a good person), and I have no problem with some of these negative responses. Yeah, the topic had turned to this, you went through all that, you deserve to voice it. Then we have some members that are just pulling cheap shots, if they can be classified that highly. We have some people who are either so depraved or immature that they won't shut their mouth's to stop the incessant flow of sh*t. They have nothing to say, it never changes. I don't think many of them have even had bussiness with the tuner as they tend to be newer members and they never state their problem. They go off of topic and badmouth a vendor and then 'here we go again'. It just reminds me of a 3rd grader just out at recess just out to make trouble. Most of you are grown men (and women, what up ladies) and I would just like to feel a large group of this forum doesn't suffer from a sort of chemical deficancy or mental retardation to make them act like 3rd graders. and to most of you, Happy New Year, 2003!

Sorry Jim, but it looks like nothings changed to me. Follow this thread and see how another L owner was told more than once that a part had shipped.
