Help on QA1 Shocks

Hi guys, I was wondering if you could help me out. I am planning on buying the Hotchkis front springs, leafs, and swaybars. I already have the order in. Now I notice that most of you guys with the hotchkis setup are running QA1's. Will these make the ride smoother, and transfer the weight better? If I did get them should I go all out and replace the front and rear shocks? If you guys think I should do this give me the ok, and the best website and what parts to get, because I will do it right away! I am anxious to get this kit it! If you could post some pics of this kit that would be awesome too.
Thx Guys

I have the exact set up you are considering. The QA1’s are the only way to go.
Well worth the money.

Ayrt, where did you purchase yours and what kit did you buy? If you could give me some links, that would help me out a lot! If you got some pics too, that would rock!

If you're getting the Hotchkis all the way around, the springs will beat up the stock shocks in a shorter amount of miles (20k is the average I usually hear).

Yup. The bilstiens will last longer then the 99'00' shocks, but neither are good for the Hotchkis springs.

If you're going to do the Hotchkis, gets the shocks and do it all at once. Contact Ruslow.

I have the full Hotchkis kit with QA1’s. I got both direct from the manufacture.

What he said. I used the stock 02 Bilsteins with the Hotchkis springs for a few weeks. They were driveable and safe, but were severely underdamped. The QA1s will let you find the setting that's right for YOUR truck.

QA1's ROCK

In the short time they have been onmy truck and the little it has been driven (snow), they are outstanding. Can't wait to try them out in warmer weather!!!

Thanks Bob

I am afraid is does not look like that anymore, as it is currently being “modded”.

I have it tucked away in the bat cave being “massaged”.
