Well this is my first post. I have been reading this board for somethine now. I enjoy all the info you guys put on here. I have owned all kinds of Mustangs, 93 Gen 1 Lightning and a 98 Contour SVT. I traded the Contour SVT and sold my 85 GT race car for the Lightning back in May. The truck is still virgin and most likely stay that way. Well I have not driven the L in sometime because of the weather and the guy next door just bought a shadow grey 03. So i guess this made me a tad frisky. Well on this back road there is a real sharp corner that almost comes back on its self. I was behind a 62 stringray vette. He is goin pretty fast so I stay with him. I almost ran him over though the corner. After that there is a long straight away. Well I see the puff of blue outta his car so I jump on the L. I gained no ground till about 65 then it was all over. At about 80 I went by him like he was standing still. At the next stop sign he gives me thumbs up and goes the other way. Maybe someday this summer I will get to E-Town or Atco to see what it runs in the 1/4.
