Stuck on what 20's to get

Im really stuck on which 20"s to get. Trying to decide between '01 reps, or the KMC Condors, Venoms, V2's, and stealths. If anyone has any pics with some silver lightnings or any lightnings with these on them could ya pls post em thx!

i couldn't really decide which 20's to get either, but i sort of decided on the venom's. then for x-mas my parents said they buy em, so now i'm getting 22's. i dunno, they aren't ordered yet, but i'm probabley going with some weld evo slingblades, as they weigh like 32 pounds each (for 22's!!!). I just can't consciouslly put on a set of rims that weigh about 50 pounds each. It will just slow my down, and show no respect for my brakes and steering. Sorry, i know most of this is rambling, but I was planning on the venom's for about a year, but now it makes me kind of sick putting on big fat rims that are almost 50 pounds each. i will feel unfinished, and i will always plan for the light weight rims, it will just cost me more. i've given aplenty though to this, and from the best I can tell, look for a strong light-weight rim. i know stevens (navigator forum) kmc bofa split after a rough patch in the road. i know i can't put on heavy and weak rim (and i know evo has TWICE! (6:3) layers of chrome plating. whether you need more than 3 or not i dunno, it's just not too hard to figure out which product is better.

Happy Holidays

Keep us informed if you do any more wheel research. I too would like to upgrade my wheels and tires but I won't put on any more weight either. After all it is a LIGHTNING and speed comes before Bling Bling in my book.

Im shure that many of us have pondered this dilemma 20's+/weight

Anyone out there have info?

Tks

Doesnt anyone buy billet wheels anymore??

There are too many overweight, overpriced bling bling rollers out there IMO.(replicas' dont count----they look too cool)

Go with some nice, lightweight, polished billet wheels.

You wont be sorry you did.

DJY1, how much of a drop do you have on your L??

Jason

Im with struckby on this one, (flame suit on), I would much rather put a set of polished wheels on my L. Chome looks good on some other Ls and on lots of other rides, but its just not for me. I was thinking about powder coating my 01 rims, but I will save rims for last. If anything go with reps, the V2's have too many rivets. Or go to the westcoastchoppers site, and pick up some of his. But, thats just my opinion. (flame suit off)
