hangers only/ how much drop?

i have a bell tech hanger and shackle kit and was wondering how much of a difference in drop threre would be with no shackles, only hangers. i have both installed right now and it is about 4 inches lower than stock. i need it about 3 inches instead. i have raised the shackes to the second hole but it only raised about a 1/2 inch . i want to try the stock shackles now and maybe get another 1/2 inch. has anyone done this and measured the difference?

I had a Bell Tech 2/4 drop put on my Lightning, then added a hard tonneau cover, that made the back lower than the front, I raised the shackles up one notch and the back was still lower than the front, so I put the stock shackles back on and my truck is sitting perfectly level.

The hanger should be a real 2" drop. Since the shackle can pivot, and stop at any position, it's not uncommon for it to be less than advertised drop.
Make sure the bushing aren't binding on the shackle. Put some anti-sieze on the bolts, and run them a slight bit loose for a while. Once the suspension, has settled, tighten them down completely...

Go back to the stock shackles and you'll have a three inch drop. I did the exact same thing and was happy with the look, a slight rake.
