Question Git rid of creases in Bedrug?

I just got one for Christmas and came in a huge box but they still seemed to manage making some distinctive creases across my Bedrug. It's been laying out for a few days and they havent gone away or lessened. They look kinda bad when I test fitted it in the truck. Has anyone else had this issue?

Mine had a crease in it too..... I put it out in the sun for an hour or so before I put it in and it was perfect. My main crease was across the front where the word "Bedrug" is but now you can't see it at all. Of course that was during the summer so that isn't of much help to you this time of year I guess.

Good luck
Johnie

Lay it out, and try using a heat gun (or hair dryer, etc) on the creases - should have the same effect.

Good luck with it - I can't wait to get one for my L!

BlkBanshee - Tried using a hair dryer and even an iron ran over a towel and that didnt work I'll try sitting it out in the sun tomorrow cause it's supposed to get a lil warmer (68 degrees). Hopefully that will do something if not hopefully it will go away with time and some Texas heat...

Thanks for the advice...Anyone else have any tips?

I got a bedrug for christmas too. I don't think I'm going to try to install it until spring time. Reason being that it needs to be out in the sun for a while so that it softens up a bit so that it is easier to work with. Another thng, the double sided tape won't stick too well in the cold.
