Bill... "HDMLNM"
Understood
But, I think we're all a little farther than that. Mapquest is showing 3 hours to this area, and Bruce is another 2 hours south of here.
You know, though, that's not a bad idea. We could have meets to meet the major NE tuners, see what they're working on, their goals and projects for the year. Like a Lightning Field Trip
Between DelValLO and LOOM, two of the largest active chapters next to each other

I think HD's truck will be worth the wait.....
I have said I wont post anything negative anymore, but there is a patern of old issues being brought up here by a select few....
Anyways.... HD.... Only a few more weeks and all will be put to rest....
Jim, You backed up what you posted about the 01 test truck.... You proved your point to the world there, Now lets see you prove HD's truck to all the people that doubt it!!!

Hey Bill,
For this festive season and time of coming together, and giving of presents.
How about a Christmas present for your Lightning brother's and sister's?
The Lightning Communitty would really like for you to post some recent pics if of your truck in it's final stages.

Any new developments???
Yes, the bad pun does imply pictures of the "MLNUM" truck in it's final stages.

Later...

Bruce,
I haven't talked with Jim in a week or so, Last I knew the truck was going to be going back to Jims shop after it was finnished with the suspension work. Like I said I haven't talked with him to see if it is back or not.
I am sure he will call me soon to give me an update, until then I will let him go about his business and get what he can done. He has some great ideas for the truck and when it is finnished I am sure you will agree with me that it was worth the wait.
I see that he offerd you a chance to come see it and said that he would show you the whole project. And I think you are closer than me, so why don't you go see it for yourself. I am sure he can explain the project better than I could and you could see it first hand and all your questions would be answered. I am not trying to be an A$$ to you or anything but nobody wants this truck done more than me, so if I have to wait, and can, than I think that everyone else can wait it out too.
Some of the posts on these threads are negitive and no one likes to read negitive things about what is being done to their truck.
Would I like to see some new pictures, or a video of it on the dyno? Sure, but that will all come in time and when Jim has it to the point where it needs to be.
I want it finished and finished right, I don't want him to feel like I am bugging him or rushing him to the point where he puts it all together in a rush just to be done with it.
When we went into this I knew about his schedule with the FFW events and new it wouldn't be a couple week job. I have faith in him and what he can do so I was willing to let him take as much time as he needed to get the truck to the level that we both wanted.
He has been great to me through out this whole thing. I was stressed in or about the middle of the summer and had a long talk with Jim to tell him what I was feeling. He offered me his '99 truck for the summer so that I wouldn't miss the whole racing season. I declined and he offered it to me a number of more times. He also told me if the wait got to be something that I could not handle than he would put in a built longblock in it for free for my troubles, and have it back to me with in a week. I then, and still now choose to wait for the truck to be finnished as agreed. It will be worth the wait, It will be worth the wait, It will be worth the wait. Do you see what I am saying? That is how I feel.. To me that is all you need to know and if you would like to know or see more I would call the shop and talk with Jim himself. (732) 780-0770
I hope this helps...
