Weird experience at the Car Wash

I hate going through those dam things, but after the snow, sand, salt, and rain, it needed it big time. Anyway the dude ahead of me is watching his new Blazer going through. It's one of those fancy places with windows to watch your baby go through a $21.00 car wash, it was just re-done last week. I'm behind him eyeing up some dude driving mine up while we start talking small talk and walk through watching our rides. All of a sudden he screams out "WHAT THE ****" my heart drops as I look up and see his drivers side front wheel come right out of the rail system and start sending his ride side ways while mine is still coming right behind him He's going off yelling and screaming as they hit the emergency shut off. We couldn't tell if his was damaged yet because the *** was now totally against this big a$$ washing wheel (that ended up saving him) Now they got to open his door and let all kinds of water and soap in while they drive it back into the rail system.
He's standing next to me on our side of the window freaking out while all this is going on. Now of course the big question was, is mine gonna come off at the same place.

Thank God all went well, and luck have it, his truck was spotless.

Next time I go back to washing it myself, that was waaaaaaay to stressful

EDIT:

Yes. You have to eye up the "illegal alien" , it is a must. They just might take your job and truck.

Exactly, that statement didn't add anything to the story.

About 3 years ago me and my friend were, in his passport, getting a car washed in one of those touchless car washes at the gas station. The arm got caught on the spare tire the first time around. So we both got out and looked at for a minute. It was at night so no one was around. Anyway he gets back in the car and pulls forward and the arm brakes off. It was truely a site pulling out of the car wash with the arm still on the car. The manager didn't know what to say when he saw it. I have never taken my truck thru one of those things.

I don't blame you Invalid, this may be my last trip too.

Sorry Blown + E-Lo, your right, that was un-called for, I changed it. I was just trying to paint a picture and tell it like it was. He may have just been a foreign exchange student, one thing is for sure, he didn't speak one word of English "I tried asking him something" and had to find someone else to get an answer. I don't appreciate NOT BEING ABLE TO TALK TO someone driving
"MY L". I have no beef with any nationality, schitt my lifes quest is to **** a hot babe from every country in the world.

Don't like those place's, they recycle the water so your still gettin some of the road salts etc. back on the truck. Also those machines will scratch the Chit out of your vehicle... And I have no nationallity problems with anyone execpt when I'm trying to get a point across and they don't speak english... Gets frustrating

PEaCE............ Happy Holiday

thats why all i use is hand wash places,
place by me constantly changes thier soap,
they also use a real soap that dosent take the wax off.
for 20 bux its worth it.

I just wanted to chime in with another hazard of drive thru car washes. I took my L thru one of them twice (touchless). Anyways, I noticed a couple months ago that the friggin rails your front driver's side wheel goes through is not wide enough to handle our nice big wheels and tires. I have scratches on the rims... both of the driver's sides ones.

Mine has never come out of a car wash as clean as I can get it at home with my grubby paws.
