I can't believe it!!!
I must give Props to GOD!
He just got me out of a ticket.
Let me set this one up. I was going to get something to eat in my 91 Mustang GT Conv. w/17" chrome wheels(nice lookin' car) and I was sitting on Roswell Rd. trying to get over the hwy to get to some type of fast food. Well, it was raining and the traffic was backed up for about 2 miles. SOOO being the smart guy I am, I try to pull a U-turn in the middle of the road(still perfectly Legal). Here's the 1st kicker. As I was attempting my U-turn I give it a little gas to slide the rear end around a little because there really wasn't enough room to do a complete u-turn. WELL, as I give ithe gas, it kinda gets away from me, well I take that back it really got away and I fish tail all over the place. I got control and started straight up the other way. 2nd kicker, there was a police officer two cars behind me. Of course he flicks on the lights. I pull over immediately and start trying to get my insurance and stuff together. He must have ran up to the car, because by the time I pulled out my insurance, he was tapping on the window telling me to roll it down. I rolled down the window and handed him my ins., etc.. and said it is really slick out there. He responded, that's not what happened I saw you giving it gas and fish tailing all the way up the hill. Although he was correct, I still responded, but it's a mustang and they are light in the rear end. He said, I know cars and you were intentionally fish tailing. I said as he started to walk away "Sir do you understand what I'm sayin'?" He said, "i Know cars, you were doing that". Just then, another car, a TAXI, spun hit tires, I said, "See everyone is spinning" He then looked at me really mean and walked back to his car.
So, I'm sitting there thinkin' he is probably gonna write me a ticket for wreckless driving and my wife is gonna kill me because along with a few other tickets i've had in the past, this will probably suspend my license.
All the sudden, out of the "blue lights", a hand appeard with my insurance and license and I heard "please try to be more careful" and he walked away as quickly as he walked up.
Now i don't know about you guys, but I have never been able to get out of a ticket. After the last $389 ticket, I have been praying that i would slow down and not get anymore tickets. Well i wasn't going "fast" and GOD made sure I didn't get another ticket. Now it's up to me to not provoke another ticket after this.
He let me off this one time.

Gotta love those cops with a heart during the seasons!

knock on wood, I haven't had a ticket since October of '98 (when I got three counts of reckless driving in one stop while testing out my first set of drag radials on my stang )
BUT JUST IN CASE...
I've got one of these coming just in time for Christmas!!!
Not that I plan on using it around here since it's illegal and all, I'll only use it when traveling to out of state races and such
